24.10.2009 Arrival at Santa Cruz in north Tenerife after 8 days at sea. 5 days of good sailing with some heavy squalls. Sailed over what was to be Portugal's biggest waves in 30 years but had a reasonably easy time of it in the deep waters, seeing no more than gentle rolling hills as evidence. Not much fish to be seen and none to be fished.
